In 2020, because of the pandemic and being home, I began to paint the wood panels with black acrylic and put white oil on top to scratch into with a palette knife, thus the black lines. I played, surprising myself, having fun. I also added torn up pieces from old pink drawings to the oil and continued scratching. Leftover acetate layers are also used, along with adding nails, resulting in these Quarantine Whites.
