My breakthrough work began in 2002 with these large-scale 40" Pastel Paintings. No more teachers, no more influences. I was fortunate to monitor nude model workshops for years so I could develop as I did, using uncontrollable ink, hard pastels and paper that took abuse adding and subtracting heads.
