The most recent large-scale series is the Single Figures. This body of work is more figurative but has a new raw edge. The 2012 pieces were inspired by Rineke Dijksyra's "Beach Portraits" (1992-2002). Her single figures, standing there, vulnerable, real, expressing an innocence, intrigued me, as do the more gritty photographs by Diane Arbus.
